Basal Cell
Carcinoma (BCC) is the most common type of skin cancer. For the most part,
these cancers grow slowly in one area and do not spread to other areas of the
body. Mohs surgery is one treatment option for this type
of cancer. More photos...
Squamous
Cell Carcinoma (SCC) is the second most common type of skin cancer. Although
it is uncommon, SCC can spread to the ears, lips, genitals, and other locations. Mohs

Melanoma is
the most serious type of skin cancer, and the third most common. Melanoma will
spread to other parts of the body if not treated early. Treatment involves cutting
out the tumor and the surrounding area after biopsy confirms the suspicion of
melanoma. The cure rate is very good if the cancer is found and treated early.
Sometimes, other treatment may be used as well. More photos...
